Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nestled among rolling hills, offering a serene getaway with lovely traditional furnishings in the rooms. The customer service could benefit from more training, but the welcome drink adds a nice touch to the experience.
Our stay was lovely, with a room that had a camp bed for our son and a lovely bathroom. The service could have been better with some customer service training. The location was among rolling hills, making it a peaceful retreat, but the dining experience lacked fresh vegetables. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel is nestled among rolling hills in a beautiful area of the Peak District with great walks all around, making it well-placed for visits around the area. The rooms, although in an attic space, offer lovely views and a cosy atmosphere with a modernized bathroom and lovely old traditional furnishings. However, there is room for improvement in customer service training. The traditional bread served in dining lacks fresh vegetables. The location is stylish and suits the rural area perfectly.
